Professor David Gardner did his undergraduate and postgraduate training at the University of York in the UK in the laboratory of Professor Henry Leese. He then spent time as a Fellow at Harvard Medical School with professor John Biggers, before moving to Monash University in the late 1980’s to work with Alan Trounson.

Alison Campbell studied at Leicester and Nottingham Universities, obtaining a Master’s degree in Assisted Reproduction Technology. She is currently undertaking a PhD at the University of Kent. She has held a senior embryology position with CARE Fertility at its inception in 1997.

Ashok Agarwal, PhD, HCLD, is the Director of the Clinical Andrology Center and the Director of Research at the Center for Reproductive Medicine. He holds these positions at Cleveland Clinic, where he is a Professor at the Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University and, since 1993, Senior Staff in Urology, Ob-Gyn, Anatomic Pathology, and Immunology.

After studies in biochemistry, DNA sequencing and molecular structure, Sandrine CHAMAYOU obtained her PhD in biology of reproduction and development in the University of Medicine of Montpellier (France).In 1995, she set up ART and molecular biology laboratories in the IVF unit of the University Hospital V. Emanuele in Catania (Italy). She performed the first preimplantation genetic diagnosis on b-thalassemia and sickle cell disease in Italy (2000).

She then became a consultant in IVF as Director/Secretary of Mortimer Scientific Consulting Pty Ltd, and was Managing Director of GenARTech Pty Ltd, a laboratory supply company.

Stephens career in reproductive science began as an honours graduate in Applied Biology in 1994 as a Trainee Embryologist post at the University of Bristol under the supervision of Barbara Ray.  In 2002 he joined the team at Newcastle Fertility Centre at Life as Andrology Laboratory Manager and Senior Embryologist.

Dr Hardarson is the Laboratory Director at Fertilitetscentrum Gothenburg, Sweden.
